New Year-New Career

Just finally wrapping up the holidays with a lot coming ahead of me. This last week, I’ve been connecting with a lot of new people and reaching out to find a position as a software engineer. Right before the holiday, I was able to land 2 interviews next week and hopefully one more.

I have two different interviews scheduled for tomorrow to kick-start my week off. I’m super nervous but excited at the same time. Kinda feel a little rusty coming off holiday break and straight into more interviews. One is for a company that one of my cohort mates landed an IOS role at, and the other one is through a connection on LinkedIn.

I’ve been spending a lot of time studying for these positions and I'm hoping to spark a connection while talking during the interviews. After wrapping up the holidays I have a lot of plans to study DS&A’s and also build another project to touch up on my skillset as well as learn new material and test my knowledge. Currently, I’m still working for a volunteer company and we were able to finish a google login system through the strapi backend and React frontend. I’m super stoked to be a part of something that helps newcomers with coding. We plan to release the site by the end of January 2022, stay tuned.

I have ALOT of growth coming this year in 2022. I plan to keep building my blogging platform and connections as well. Make sure to follow my account and keep up with my journey. I will be speaking about my experience and the new material I keep learning as the weeks go on. Also ill be blogging about the new position I’m currently trying to land as a junior software engineer.
